They pay $25 to $60 per article, so twenty five 600 word articles a month if you can hit $60 for each of them. They are nominally local US news only, but I'm a US ex-pat that has been living in Japan since 2003. My hobby is fly fishing, so I do research on local spots in Washington State and write about that. There are several ex-pats and a few people from other countries that write for them.
