The agricultural revolution did lead to the industrial revolution, which threatens almost all life on the planet right now. Maybe I read things differently than you did, but I didn't feel like Harari was claiming that pre-agricultural humans lived in a paradise at all. He certainly didn't express that opinion at all in Homo Deus.
