That is exactly why I'm leaving Medium in Oct when my subscrition ends. Medium has never treated creative writers equally. All they really care about are the writers who pick the popular topics to drive traffic to Medium. After five years of this bs I'm done. All the content I've created and published on Medium will be moved to News Break and Substack.
