Some excellent advice. You are one of the most inspiring success stories on Medium.

But, I still feel like Medium hasn’t really done much to create a place for fiction writers and poets. There are a handful of great publications that try and take up the slack, but so far I have only seen one short story featured on my front page and I’ve never seen any poetry. Also, there aren’t any Medium publications that are dedicated to fiction or poetry. Why not? Literary journals have been around for centuries. I’m baffled as to why Medium doesn’t step up and address this.
