Not all Americans call Canada that. I'm American and I sure don't. Vancouver is one of my favorite cities actually. And there is still a huge difference between Soviet, Nazi, Chinese, North Korean style Socialism and Scandanavian. Maybe Jordan Peterson has addressed this since I last listened to him years ago, but he never did when he was on JRE. At least not on the episodes I heard.
