Medium pretty much hates and ignores creative writing across the board.

I've compliled five collections of poetry just from what I've written and published on Medium. I can't say I have sold many copies, but I am currently sending one of the unpublished collections out to contests . Assuming I;m lucky enough to win one of them then I'd get a small advance as well as a traditional publishing contract. I'm not positive,but I think having all of the poems in the collection in publications on Medium incrfeases my odds at least a little bit.
