I think you have to join Vocal + though before you can enter any of those challenges. Which means you are spending money on a very long shot to earn anything back.

I've posted about 12 short stories on Vocal and earned about $0.09. It hasn't seemed to me like it is worth paying for Vocal +.

Newsrbreak is really the only platform that I've earned any descent money for fiction.
