I don’t think his work proves that at all.

Since you’re into neurology, I invite you to look at the works of Anil Seth. His work tends to prove that reality is just a collective hallucination produced by the brain. But we call it reality because we agree on it, or we experience the same hallucination, therefore it’s “reality”.

I don’t think his work proves that at all. It just means that we often share an inter-subjective reality. Objective reality does and will exist with or without our inter-subjective one.
