I always say "Seattle Sound" instead. I think that's what most of the bands prefered too.

…o live in a world where you had to categorize music and I understand why it was (and still is) done. I hate it though and I hate the term associated with the era/genre that meant the most to me, Grunge. I’ll use it because it’s what the world decided to call it but I don’t have to like it.
