I agree, but when the MPP started in 2017 I was in the 7%, making over $100 a month for a while and a lot of other creative writers were as well. At that time Medium would feature your work because they recognized it as good. But then in 2018 there was suddenly a massive shift away from the regular writers on Medium, many that had been writing on Medium since it started, to hired guns. And the number of creative writers that got featured went from around 25% to 0. Pretty much that is where it has stayed ever since.

You are correct that there is a vibrant creative writing community here. Which is why I’m baffled as to why Medium doesn’t capitalize on this. PS I Love You alone has over 100k followers. And yet, they continue to ignore us.
