Do you also think there might also be evolutionary reasons why people with psychopathic tendencies often end up in leadership positions?

I’ve sort of kicked around my own completely unqualified theory that maybe when we were still hunter/gathers and facing potentially deadly situations on a very regular basis that having someone with these tendencies in charge, since they would be much less likely to give in to fear or panic, might have increased our chances of survival. Curious what your thoughts are?
