Enjoyed this one a lot. Great article. Bukowski has had a huge influence on me. And I really admire the fact that he wrote for so long with almost nothing to show for it in terms of success or recognition.

I wouldn’t want to live the life he did, his childhood is one of the most brutal I’ve ever heard of, but I have a tremendous amount of respect for him as a writer that kept at it no matter what.
